Introducing VoltMotion ™: Portable, Battery-Powered Conveyor Flexibility

JanTec, Inc. is proud to introduce VoltMotion™, a new battery-powered modular conveyor division designed to bring greater mobility, flexibility, and efficiency to material handling operations. Built for applications where fixed power drops or extension cords are impractical, VoltMotion offers a rechargeable, portable conveyor solution that helps operations stay productive while adapting quickly to changing workflows.

VoltMotion conveyors are designed to move products over variable distances on a single charge, giving facilities the freedom to create temporary or reconfigurable conveyor layouts without being tied to static infrastructure. This makes VoltMotion an ideal fit for operations that need flexible material flow, quick deployment, and the ability to scale conveyor length up or down as needed.

The standard lineup is planned to include 5-foot and 10-foot conveyor sections in widths up to 36 inches, with 12-inch, 18-inch, 24-inch, 30-inch, and 36-inch options available. Each section is driven by a 24V brushless Motor Driven Roller, with high-torque and high-speed options available depending on the application. Standard configurations will be offered in B-Series power belted conveyor and R-Series powered roller conveyor models.

At the core of the system is a lightweight rechargeable Lithium-Iron-Phosphate battery design that supports quick battery connect solutions, allowing operators to change batteries quickly and keep production moving. Depending on conveyor width and product load conditions, VoltMotion conveyors are expected to deliver run times ranging from 12 to 30 hours on a single charge. Every conveyor comes with a dedicated battery and charger.

VoltMotion also supports efficient storage and transport. Aluminum conveyor frames with folding supports can nest within an optional mobile storage cart unit, making it easy to expand or reduce conveyor length as operational needs change. Optional mobile carts can also accommodate batteries and chargers, helping teams move equipment in and out of work areas with minimal disruption.

This new solution is built for facilities looking for a practical alternative to fixed conveyor layouts. Whether supporting temporary production runs, seasonal peaks, evolving floor plans, or areas where permanent conveyance is not cost-effective, VoltMotion offers a smart and adaptable way to move product. The added ability to recharge during off-peak hours can also help reduce costs by avoiding energy use during peak periods.

VoltMotion is taking pre-orders now, with deliveries beginning in July 2026. Standard units and optional features are available to pre-order at volt-motion.com, and demo units will be previewed at MODEX 2026 in Atlanta at Booth B7524.
